New sustainability officer joins Abbey Hill GC

At BGL, we believe sustainability starts at every level of our business. That’s why we’re proud to welcome Katie Lanigan as the new Sustainability Officer at Abbey Hill Golf Club.

With her passion for environmental action and studies in Sustainable Development and Climate Change, Katie will be driving key initiatives that help Abbey Hill – and BGL as a whole – reach our 2026 Net Zero target. She will be working closely with all departments at the club to track progress and promote greener practices.

Her appointment reflects our ongoing mission to champion sustainability across all venues in our group and is another step forward in creating a greener future for golf. 🌍
